Albin (1934) was born in Ljubljana, where he studied to become a metal turner and was employed as a mechanic workshop master in a car dealership in Ljubljana. He worked there until his retirement. In his spare time, he earned money as a safety driving instructor and practiced many sports. He loved ice skating, playing hockey, cycling, but above all he loved speed and old-timer motorbike racing. Every Tuesday he and his friends meet up in the retirement home’s café and play cards, which is his favorite activity. He has two children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom he is very proud of.
