Mimi (1933) was born on Planina. She married very soon. She and her husband first moved to Koper and then to Novo mesto, where she worked in the Revoz factory where she retired. When she was young she didn’t get a chance to read and their parents didn’t tell her any stories. When she grew up and became independent she loved reading, especially fairy tales. She has two daughters and one son. Seeing as there was no money for day care, she dedicated her time to raising children and read to them a lot. She was always skillful in handwork and is now making rag dolls in the Fužine Retirement Home. She has four great-grandchildren and even though she has been in the retirement home for 2 years, they are still very close.
